An industrial visit to Daily Uttam Hindu Newspaper

An industrial visit was organized to daily Uttam Hindu Newspaper printing press by Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya on 26^th February, 2016 by the Multimedia club. Sh. Irwin Khanna, the chief editor of Uttam Hindu addressed the students of Bachelors of multimedia and B.voc(web tech & multimedia) giving profound knowledge about E-paper & printing procedure. The students had an opportunity to experience the step by step process of offset printing technique from film paper formation to the final printing process. Sh. Irwin Khanna presented his book ’Haan Hindu Hu’ along with a souvenir  ‘smriti patr’ on the completion of 30 years of the newspaper to each participant. Further he shared his experience and the evolution of printing presses that he has witnessed and discussed the prominence of time management that accelerates ones growth and success. Principal Dr. Rekha Kalia Bhardwaj appreciated the efforts & motivated the students to think productively. Coordinator Mr. Jagjit Bhatia had convened the visit with other faculty members.

workshop on Adobe Flash by Maya Academy of Advanced Cinematics (MAAC), Jalandhar

A 40 hrs workshop on Adobe Flash was organized at Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya by Maya Academy of Advanced Cinematics (MAAC) from 20-1-2016 to 10-02-2016. Mr. Rohit Bhatia explained the concepts of animation to the students of B. Voc classes. He started the workshop by explaining the principles of animation in detail. Students were taught animation through use of acting as a demonstration tool. He further explained the use of Adobe Flash as an animation tool for web designing and development and taught 2d animation using latest version of flash.

Principal Dr. Rekha Kalia Bhardwaj appreciated the efforts & motivated the students to think productively. Principal Prof. Coordinator Mr. Jagjit Bhatia, Mr. Ashish, Ms. Mansi, Ms. Anjali, Ms. Harleen was also present on this occasion.
