HMV GOT 15 DISTINCTIONS IN BMM SEMESTER-VIII

The Students of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya brought laurels to the college by getting university position in the Bachelor of Multimedia result declared by Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. 15 students also passed with distinction. Principal Prof. Dr. Mrs. Ajay Sareen congratulated all the students. Swati Mahajan of Bachelor of Multimedia got 5441 marks out of 5900 and secured second position in the university. In addition, Dhwanee Mittu got 5327 marks, Palak Kapoor got 5207 marks, Jasmin Kaur got 5168 marks, Noor Arora got 5092 marks, Riya Verma got 4977 marks, Shubham got 4952 marks, Komal Noor got 4901 marks, Gajal got 4922 marks, Nisha got 4882 marks, shivnit kaur got 4693 marks, Amarpreet got 4670 marks, Amrita got 4732 marks, Sakshi got 4453 marks, Sandeep kaur got 4469 marks and passed the exam with distinction. Principal Prof. Dr. Sareen congratulated multimedia incharge Prof. Jagjit Bhatia and Asstt. Prof. Ashish Chadha and prayed to almightly for their bright future.

HMV STUDENTS SHINE IN B.VOC(WEB TECHNOLOGY & MULTIMEDIA) SEM-IV

The Students of B.Voc(Web Technology & Multimedia) Sem-IV of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya bagged top positions in Guru Nanak Dev University. Km. Radhika got 1st position in university with 698 marks out of 800. Km. Taniya got 2nd position with 681 marks and Km. Honey Sabharwal got 3rd position with 678 marks. Principal Prof. Dr. Mrs Ajay Sareen congratulated the students and prayed to almighty for their bright future on this occasion, multimedia coordinator Prof. Jagjit Bhatia & Asstt. Prof. AshishChadhawere also present. All the students have passed the semester with good marks & the result was 100%.

Guest lectures on Search Engine Optimization by Mr. Samarpreet Singh, Web Developer, Amritsar

The Department of Multimedia of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya organized guest lectures on “SEO” from 13/2/2017 to 12/4/2017 by Mr. Samarpreet Singh, Amritsar for B. Vocational (Web Technologies & Multimedia) 6^th semester students. The current demand of this web technology era is of online marketing.The students got an opportunity to learn techniques of SEO from basics. The students learnt in-depth techniques used to help the website rank higher in search engine results pages and completed their live projects successfully.

Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen encouraged the students to learn new upcoming technologies in order to enhance their employability. Coordinator Mr. Jagjit Bhatia along with Mr. Ashish Chadha, Miss Anjali Sharma, Mr. Rahil Kapahi appreciated the efforts of the students.

Workshop on “Future Of Database And Android by Dr. Gurvinder Singh, Dean faculty and engineering, Gndu Amritsar, Dr. Prateek Bhatia, Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Thapar University, Patiala and Mr. Ashish, Mr. Ansh, Mr. Gaurav from Ansh Infotech, Ludhiana

A one day seminar on “Future Of  Database And Android” at Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya on 8^th April, 2017 by Department of Multimedia. Dr. Gurvinder Singh, Dean faculty and engineering, Gndu Amritsar, Dr. Prateek Bhatia, Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Thapar University, Patiala and Mr. Ashish, Mr. Ansh, Mr. Gaurav from Ansh Infotech, Ludhiana.

            Mr. Ashish, Mr. Ansh, Mr. Gaurav commenced the seminar giving technical insight about the android and discussed few basic techniques from installation to designing an app at beginner level. Dr. Gurvinder Singh shared knowledge enriching information with the students discussing importance of Green Computing, molecular communication etc. Dr. Prateek Bhatia   gave their skilled guidance on databases. Students of B. Vocational (Web Technologies & Multimedia) and Multimedia got the opportunity to discover many new concepts of database.  

Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen appreciated the efforts & motivated the students to enhance their skills for their secured future. Coordinator Mr. Jagjit Bhatia with Mr. Ashish, Ms. Anjali Sharma, Mr. Rahil,  Ms. Supreeti were also present on this occasion.
