In consonance with
the government's campaign to limit and eliminate the consumption of single use
plastic, the Gandhian study centre organised a special event on the 150th Birth
Anniversary of Gandhiji under the motivation of Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay
Sareen and Coordination of Mrs. Meenakshi Sayal.
Mahatma Gandhi gave
the message to be your own scavenger. Taking cue from this the students of
Legal Literacy. Cell prepared paper bags from the waste paper. The department
of Multimedia displayed posters and made special logos for the occasion. The
department of Bachalor of Design also prepared posters and paper bags to create
awareness.
Principal Prof. Dr.
(Mrs.) Ajay Sareen emphasized on the ideology of simple living and high
thinking followed by Gandhiji throughout his life. She motivated the students
to take inspiration from his life and remain determined to fulfill their goals.
She congratulated the organisers on celebrating the day fruitfully by creating
awareness over the harms of plastic. It would help to overcome the manmoth
problem of disposing plastic waste.

the Father of Nation by offering floral tributes.
