3D Digital Game Art Skill category at the India Skills 2024 State-Level
Competition, organized by the Punjab Skill Development Mission. This
recognition is a testament to Khushi's outstanding abilities and commitment in
the realm of digital art and gaming. The Felicitation Ceremony took place on
the 17th of September 2024 at the Hyatt Regency, Chandigarh. Winners across
various skill categories were awarded medals and certificates in a grand event
graced by Sh. Aman Arora, Minister of Employment Generation, Skill Development,
and Training, Government of Punjab, serving as the Chief Guest. Khushi’s
achievement not only marks a significant milestone in her artistic journey but
also exemplifies the high caliber of training provided by HMV. This
accomplishment underlines the college’s commitment to nurturing talent and
supporting comprehensive skill development in line with national educational
goals. Khushi made the college even prouder by being the only female
participant, competing against all male participants in the IndiaSkill 2024

Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar Organizes "Needle Nook" Workshop on
Embroidery Techniques.
The Postgraduate Department of Multimedia at Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar,
successfully organized a three-day workshop titled "Needle Nook"
conducted by Ms. Tamanna Dhir. This workshop aimed at imparting advanced
embroidery techniques to the students, fostering creativity and enhancing their
practical skills in the art of embroidery.
Throughout the workshop, students were introduced to a wide range of embroidery
techniques, including traditional and contemporary methods. The sessions were
highly interactive, with students actively participating and experimenting with
various creative ideas. The knowledge and skills gained during this workshop
will undoubtedly contribute to their overall development and artistic
expression.
Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen congratulated the department for
organizing such an enriching workshop. She emphasized the importance of
hands-on learning experiences in shaping the future of students. Dean
Academics, Dr. Seema Marwaha, also extended her congratulations to the

The Multimedia
Club of PG Department of Multimedia organized a highly informative visit to
Machinex – 2024 for the students of B. Design (Multimedia), B. Vocational &
M. Vocational (Web Tech. & Multimedia). The visit provided an excellent
opportunity for students to explore the fascinating world of 3D printing and
related technologies.
Dr. Charanjit
Singh, an expert from Modern Manufacturers, Ambala, played a pivotal role in
guiding the students through the intricacies of 3D printing and processing. His
insights into 3D scanning were particularly enlightening, offering the students
a comprehensive understanding of this cutting-edge technology.
The visit also
included a session at BEE Prints, where students witnessed firsthand the
processes of impression and laser printing on various materials such as pens,
book covers, and metal. This practical exposure allowed students to grasp the
practical applications of these technologies in industries.
