Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar Organizes "Needle Nook" Workshop on
Embroidery Techniques.
The Postgraduate Department of Multimedia at Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar,
successfully organized a three-day workshop titled "Needle Nook"
conducted by Ms. Tamanna Dhir. This workshop aimed at imparting advanced
embroidery techniques to the students, fostering creativity and enhancing their
practical skills in the art of embroidery.
Throughout the workshop, students were introduced to a wide range of embroidery
techniques, including traditional and contemporary methods. The sessions were
highly interactive, with students actively participating and experimenting with
various creative ideas. The knowledge and skills gained during this workshop
will undoubtedly contribute to their overall development and artistic
expression.
Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen congratulated the department for
organizing such an enriching workshop. She emphasized the importance of
hands-on learning experiences in shaping the future of students. Dean
Academics, Dr. Seema Marwaha, also extended her congratulations to the
students, acknowledging their enthusiasm and dedication during the workshop.
The workshop was conducted under the leadership of Mr. Ashish, Head of the
Department. Other teachers Ms. Srishti Bhagat, Ms. Bhavya, Ms. Sonali Beri, and
Ms. Heena Dhir were also present.
The workshop concluded on a high note, with participants expressing their
satisfaction and eagerness to apply the newly acquired skills in their future
projects. The "Needle Nook" workshop was indeed a fruitful
experience, leaving a lasting impact on all the attendees.
