Diwali Exhibition by PG Department of Multimedia

The Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya Skill Courses organized a grand Diwali Utsav 2024, celebrating creativity, innovation, and the festive spirit. The event was inaugurated by the esteemed Chief Guest, Sh. Mohinder Bhagat, Minister of Defence Services Welfare, Freedom Fighters & Horticulture, Punjab. He commended the institution's efforts in promoting skill-based education and assured his support for further development initiatives at the college.

The celebration was graced by Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen, along with Dean of Academics Dr. Seema Marwaha and the esteemed faculty members, who presided over the ceremony with enthusiasm and support.

A standout feature of the celebration was the vibrant stall presented by the PG Department of Multimedia, which became a center of attraction for visitors. This stall beautifully displayed the immense talent and creativity of Multimedia students. It featured a wide range of handcrafted items for sale, including:

• Greeting Cards: Designed with intricate details and festive themes.
• Photo Frames: Showcasing elegant designs and craftsmanship.
• Handmade Bracelets and Accessories: Unique, stylish, and perfect for the festive season.

The most captivating element of the stall was the live illustration session, conducted by a talented B.Design (Multimedia) student. Visitors were mesmerized by her artistic skills as she created stunning illustrations in real-time, showcasing her expertise and passion for design. Her work not only highlighted the creative potential of the Multimedia Department but also drew admiration from attendees for its precision and aesthetic appeal.

Principal Dr. Ajay Sareen applauded the efforts of the Multimedia Department, emphasizing the importance of skill-based education and how it empowers students to transform their creativity into entrepreneurial ventures. She also praised the dedication of the faculty members for nurturing the artistic and technical abilities of students.

The event provided a platform for the PG Department of Multimedia to shine, with its innovative approach blending traditional art forms and modern technology. It was a proud moment for the department as their contributions added vibrancy and a unique touch to the Diwali Utsav 2024 celebrations.

B.Design Multimedia Sem – 8 Students of HMV got university positions

 

The students of B.Design Multimedia Sem – 8 of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar got university positions. Shweta stood 1^st in university with 4055/4300 marks and Krishika Chauhan 2^nd in university with 4004/4300 marks. Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs) Ajay Sareen congratulated the students and Head of the Department, Mr. Ashish Chadha. On that occasion, Ms. Heena Dhir and Ms. Srishti Bhagat were also present.

B.Design Multimedia Sem – 4 Student of HMV got university position

The student of  B.Design Multimedia Sem – 4 of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar got university position. Naina stood 1^st in university with 1000/1100 marks. Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs) Ajay Sareen congratulated the students and Head of the Department, Mr. Ashish Chadha. On that occasion, Ms. Srishti Bhagat was also present.

B.Design Multimedia Sem – 6 Student of HMV got university position

The student of  B.Design Multimedia Sem – 6 of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar got university position. Jahanvi Mahajan stood 1^st in university with 1116/1200 marks. Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs) Ajay Sareen congratulated the students and Head of the Department Mr. Ashish Chadha. On this occasion, Ms. Srishti Bhagat was also present.
