HMV Organized One Day Educational Trip to Chandigrah

 

One day Educational Trip was organized by the Department of Multimedia of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar to Itronix Solutions, Mohali and Chokhi Dhani, Panchkula for the students of B. Design (Multimedia), B.Vocational & M. Vocational (Web Tech. & Multimedia), Bachelor of Fine Arts and Bachelor of Design (Fashion, Textile and Exteriors).

Students gained knowledge on Latest techniques used in Multimedia Development as the Itronix Solutions gave them the ideas about designing and developing multimedia projects along with Software Development and Software Testing. Er. Arpit (The Managing Director and the Resource person of Itronix solutions) made students intervene in taking knowledge with interest in latest technologies and tricks in Multimedia Development. Further, he gave information about the currently trending VFX Technology being used in the Indian Industry and other countries as well. Also, Students got a chance to experience and enjoy the culture of Rajasthan and the student’s grabbed knowledge on various rituals that people of Rajasthan perform in Chokhi Dhani, Panchkula.

Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen appreciated the efforts and motivated the students to think creatively and congratulated the coordinator Mr. Jagjit Bhatia for this successful visit. Mr. Rishabh Dhir and Miss Nishita were also present there.

HMV students of B.Voc. (Web Technology and Multimedia) brought laurels with University positions

Students of B. Voc (Web Technology and Multimedia) semester II of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar brought laurels to college by bagging University positions.  Suman bagged 1st position by getting 624/800 marks, Deepshikha bagged 2nd position by getting 620/800 marks followed by Bhavyaa Manocha who got 616/800 marks.  College Principal Dr. Ajay Sareen congratulated the students for this achievement. On this occasion Mr. Ashish Chadha, and Mr. Rishabh Dhir were also present. 

Km. Damanpreet Kaur of HMV bagged University Position in B.Design (Multimedia) sem II

Km. Damanpreet Kaur of B.Design (Multimedia) Sem II of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya bagged 2ndposition in Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. She scored 345 marks out of 400. Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen congratulated her and wished her best of luck for her future endeavors.  On this occasion, Mr. Jagjit Bhatia, Mr. Ashish Chadha, and Mr. Rishabh Dhir were also present.

Poster Making Competetion

Ujjwal Puneet Kaur of HMV got 1st position in M.Voc. sem II result

Km. Ujjwal Puneet Kaur of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya got 1st position in M.Voc. (Web Technology and Multimedia) sem II result declared by GNDU. She scored 444 marks out of 500. Km. Radhika got 2nd position with 438 marks and Km. Evenglica Lal got 3rd position with 424 marks. Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen congratulated the students. On this occasion, Mr. Ashish Chadha and Mr. Rishabh Dhir were also present.

Campus Placement Drive by Placement Cell and Multimedia Department

The placement cell of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidalaya organized a fruitful placement drive for the students of Multimedia Department in which Evergreen Publications was cordially welcomed by the Multimedia Department of the College as they gave the opportunity to the students to present their abilities in an effective manner.

The Branch Project Head of Evergreen Publications situated on Tanda Road, Mr. Sarvesh was accompanied by Ms. Kompal (Graphic Designer) and the program was held in the presence of Mr. Gullagong (Placement officer I) Mr. Jagjit Bhatia (Placement officer II) Mr. Ashish Chadha (Department of Multimedia) and all other faculty members.

Mr. Sarvesh took an interactive pre-placement talk where he made students aware of the Company requirements and objectives. Also, students were equally participative for the same. Students of Courses Masters of Vocation and Bachelors of Design Multimedia appeared in the first round i.e. MCQs (Written Evaluation) and the selected students from the first round undergone one to one interview with Mr. Sarvesh and Ms. Kompal which was highly appreciated by them as students were interactive and had Portfolios reflecting their work abilities. The selected students are given a package of Rs. 2.4 LPA .  Principal Prof. Dr. Mrs. Ajay Sareen congratulated the selected candidates and encouraged them to work hard to achieve success in their respective fields. She also inspired them to be professional in their attitudes.   On this occasion, Mr. Rishabh Dhir, Mrs. Mansi and Ms. Bhumika were also present.

HMV students Outshined in University

The students of B.Voc (Web Technology & Multimedia) Semester-IV of Hans Raj Mahila Mahai Vidyalaya outshined in the examination conducted by GNDU. The students secured top positions in the university. Km. Anjali stood 1st with 355 marks out of 400. Km. riya Sethi got 351 marks & stood 2nd & Km. Tapsi stood 3rd with 342 marks. Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs) Ajay Sareen congratulated the students & the faculty for this achievement. On this occasion Mr. Ashish Chadha & Mr. Rishabh Dhir were also present.

The students of B.Voc(Web Technology & Multimedia) of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya bagged university positions. Km. Neha Vashisht got 1st position with 1987 marks. Km. Himakshi Sharma got 2nd position with 1971 marks. Km. Ulfat got 3rd position with 1942 marks. Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs) Ajay Sareen congratulated the students. The students of B.Voc(Web Technology & Multimedia) Semester-V of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya bagged top three positions in result declared by Guru Nanak Dev University, Km. Bhumika Sharma scored 1st position with 339/400 marks, Km. Ulfat got 2nd position with 337 marks and Km. Himakshi Sharma got 3rd position with 335 marks. Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs) Ajay Sareen congratulated the students, their parents and Deptt. Incharge Mr. Jagjit Bhatia Asstt. Prof. Mr. Ashish Chadha. The students of M.Voc (Web Technology & Multimedia) Sem-I of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya brought Laurels to the college by securing top positions in the examinations conducted by Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. Km. Radhika secured 451 marks out of 500 and topped the University. Km. Ujwal stood 2nd with 448 marks and Km. Megha got 3rd position with 444 marks.Principal Prof. (Mrs.) Dr. Ajay Sareen congratulated the students for their achievement. She motivated them to work hard in future also. On this occasion, Mr. Ashish Chadha, Asst. Prof. in Multimedia was also present.

Workshop on “Film Making Techniques”

The PG Department of Multimedia of Hans Raj MahilaMahaVidyalaya organized a workshop on “Film Making Techniques” on 28th March, 2019 in collaboration with Municipal Corporation Jalandhar under the innovation cell. The workshop was attended by the students of Multimedia and Mass Communication. The resource persons were Mr. Raj Kumar Tuli, Senior Announcer, All in Radio, Mr. KimtiLal, International Awardee in field of Music and Dance, and Mr. Baljeet Singh, Head of Animation and Multimedia Department, GNE. Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen welcomed the guests along with Ms. Aashika Jain (IAS), Joint Commissioner, MCJ. Dr. (Mrs.) Ramnita Saini Sharda addresses the workshop and said that it will be very beneficial for the students as they will get to know the different techniques and ideas used while making films.

During workshop, the resource persons cleared all the concepts of videography, lighting, dialogues, ideas to be used while making a film. They also showcased how movie impacts ones life. They motivated every student to show positive movies which can easily depict the happy side of the picture rather than the negative side.

Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen encouraged all the students to note down all the tips given by the resource persons and put their best foot forward in the field of videography and film making. She also encouraged the students to participate in the workshop with full zeal and enthusiasm. The stage was conducted by Ms. NandiniBudhia. On this occasion, Mr. Ashish Chadha (Head, Multimedia Club), Mr. Money, Mr. Rahil, Mr. Lovelish, Ms. Supreeti and Mr. RishabhDhir were also present.

International Water Day celebration by Multimedia Department

The Student Council and Multimedia Club of Hans Raj MahilaMahaVidyalaya celebrated International Water Day by organizing various Inter-class competitions like Paper Presentation, Poetry Recitation, Slogan Writing, Handmade and Digital Poster Making, Handmade and Digital Logo Designing and Photography on the theme ‘Water is Life-Save it’.  These events were adjudged by students only.  GulfamVirdi, PG Head Girl and Geetanjali, UG Head Girl were judges for Paper Presentation, Poetry and Slogan Writing.  Tanya of BFA and SimranThukral of BD were the judges for Poster Making, Logo Designing and Photography.  Ragini, Abha and Ankita won the first, second and third position respectively in Slogan Writing; Jaspreet, Neeta and Harmehakpreet won first, second and third position respectively in Paper Presentation; ShipraRana, Bhavika and DishaDhir secured first, second and third positions in Poetry Recitation; Ragini, Lakshmi and Jyotsna won positions in Handmade poster making; Rupinder won first position in Logo Designing; Radhika in Photography and Gurveen, Yogita and Amritpal secured first, second and third position in Digital Poster Making.

            Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareenhonoured the judges.  Principal Dr. Sareen appreciated the students for their efforts and motivated them to take little steps to save water when and wherever is possible as there is no life without water.

            On this occasion, the members of Student Council distributed stickers on Save Water and the rally was also held in which the Head of the institute Prof. Dr. (Mrs.)

One day Industrial visit to Printwell Printing Press and Qila Gobindgarh, Amritsar

One day Industrial visit was organized by the Department of Multimedia, Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar to Printwell Printing Press and Qila Gobindgarhon 19^th March, 2019 for the students of B. Design Multimedia, B.Vocational& M. Vocational (Web Tech. & Multimedia), Bachelor of Fine Arts and Bachelor of Design (Fashion, Textile and Exteriors). The students had an opportunity to experience the step by step procedure of the designing, printing, cutting and binding of Books, Magazines, Brochures, Prospectus, Diaries, Calendars etc. Mr. Gurdev Singh and Mr. Gurdeep Singh from Printwell guided the students about their work procedures such as Pre-Press, Press and Post –Press processes. The students got awareness of leading technologies used in the industries that will help them in increasing their employment opportunity.

Students also went to Golden Temple (Harmandir Sahib) and QilaGobindgarh. Mr. Upinderjit Singh and Mr. Rabdeep Singh guided the students about the enriched history of Punjab by visiting Galleries and Museums and enjoyed a lot with multiple rides and 7d show inside the fort. The students of B. Design and Fine Arts learn various techniques of line drawings of Architectual Structures, Outdoor Study and Nature Study.

Guest Lecture on “Advancements in Education System and Role of Digital Content”

The Department of Multimedia organized a guest lecture on Advancements in Education System and Role of Digital Content by Mr. Gurvinder Singh Head of department of CSC from GNDU, Amritsar on March 22, 2019. He gave the lecture regarding the importance and use of Digital Contents and all the latest technologies used in industries. He advised students to read and write digital content as it will be very beneficial for them in the future. He also gave very important tips to learn the tools required in industries. Principal Prof. Dr. Mrs. Ajay Sareen motivated the students to learn more and become a successful professional in their area of expertise. On this occasion, Mr. Jagjit Bhatia, Mr. Ashish Chadha and other staff members were also present.
