The Student Council and
Multimedia Club of Hans Raj MahilaMahaVidyalaya celebrated International Water
Day by organizing various Inter-class competitions like Paper Presentation,
Poetry Recitation, Slogan Writing, Handmade and Digital Poster Making, Handmade
and Digital Logo Designing and Photography on the theme ‘Water is Life-Save
it’. These events were adjudged by
students only. GulfamVirdi, PG Head Girl
and Geetanjali, UG Head Girl were judges for Paper Presentation, Poetry and
Slogan Writing. Tanya of BFA and
SimranThukral of BD were the judges for Poster Making, Logo Designing and
Photography. Ragini, Abha and Ankita won
the first, second and third position respectively in Slogan Writing; Jaspreet,
Neeta and Harmehakpreet won first, second and third position respectively in
Paper Presentation; ShipraRana, Bhavika and DishaDhir secured first, second and
third positions in Poetry Recitation; Ragini, Lakshmi and Jyotsna won positions
in Handmade poster making; Rupinder won first position in Logo Designing;
Radhika in Photography and Gurveen, Yogita and Amritpal secured first, second
and third position in Digital Poster Making.
Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay
Sareenhonoured the judges. Principal Dr.
Sareen appreciated the students for their efforts and motivated them to take
little steps to save water when and wherever is possible as there is no life
without water.
On this occasion, the members of
Student Council distributed stickers on Save Water and the rally was also held
in which the Head of the institute Prof. Dr. (Mrs.)
Ajay Sareen, Mrs. Urvashi Mishra,
Dean Student Council, Mr. Ashish Chadha, Incharge Multimedia Club and other
members of faculty and students participated.
The students also take pledge to save water.
