The Multimedia Club of the PG Department of Multimedia organized an
insightful visit to Machinex – 2025,
providing an exceptional learning opportunity for students of B. Design (Multimedia), B. Vocational, and M. Vocational (Web Tech. & Multimedia). The visit
allowed students to explore the latest advancements in 3D printing and related
technologies, offering them a glimpse into the future of digital fabrication.
During the visit, students participated in a
hands-on session, where they witnessed the intricacies of impression and laser
printing on various materials like pens, book covers, and metals. This exposure
helped students understand the diverse applications of these technologies in
commercial and industrial sectors.
Principal,
Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen expressed her appreciation for the
department’s continuous efforts to bridge the gap between academic learning and
industry practices. Mr. Ashish Chadha,
Head of the department, accompanied the students to the exhibition, ensuring
they got the most out of the experience.
The event was further graced by the presence
of Ms. Heena Dhir and Ms. Bhavyaa Manocha, who were
instrumental in guiding students through the exhibition.
The students left the exhibition with new knowledge and a deeper
understanding of how these technologies are transforming industries. The
experience is expected to be immensely beneficial in shaping their future careers,
providing them with a competitive edge in the rapidly evolving tech landscape.
